写真家 Cristina de Middel (クリスティーナ・デ・ミデル) の日本初個展が IMA gallery にて開催中

六本木の IMA gallery にて、スペイン人写真家、 Cristina de Middel (クリスティーナ・デ・ミデル) の日本初個展「This is what hatred did」が開催中。会期は11月8日 (日) まで。

同氏は、2011年に自主制作した写真集『The Afronauts』は世界中で話題を呼び、2013年にはドイチェ・ベルゼ写真賞にノミネートされ、いまもっとも注目される写真家のひとり。ドキュメンタリーとフィクションの間をつなぐ独自の着眼点で、綿密に作り込まれた幻想的な作品を発表している。

本展では、エイモス・チュツオーラによる幻想小説『My LIfe in the Bush of Ghosts』 (邦題：ブッシュ・オブ・ゴースツ) をもとにした新作「This is what hatred did」が展示される。
