VIKTOR & ROLF

In 1993, Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren won a contest in Hyères, Southern France, leading them to launch their brand. Viktor was born in Israel in 1969. Rolf was born in the Netherlands in 1969. Both graduated from the Arnhem Academy of Art and Design in the Netherlands. It attracted attention with their unprecedented artistic approach and their entertaining runway shows, full of humour. In 1998, they were invited to show as the guest designer at the Paris Haute Couture collection. From 2000 they began showing at Paris fashion week. They had presented a number of legendary collections, including presentations where dresses are piled up upon a single model on a runway like a Matryoshka doll, an all-black collection including hair and makeup, or a collection where the designer himself had danced as part of the presentation. In 2020 they began their new line “Mister Mister”, which SHIFFON CO., LTD, a Japanese company, is in charge of the manufacturing.
